Alternative Building Blocks

Absolutely in love with these building blocks from Fort Standard, a contemporary design studio recently founded. The organic shapes seem so pleasing to the eye as well as a baby's small hands and I appreciate a toy that doesn't have to come in flashy plastic and garish colors - everything your tiny one would build on the living room floor would look like a custom piece of artwork. Their only downfall? They cost 85 bucks.
