So bizarre...right after I hunted down "This is San Francisco" and bought it on Amazon, I saw the whole collection of these amazing books for sale on
Gilt. The books were created by
Miroslav Sasek in the 60s and have such a wonderful whimsical design aesthetic. I am always on the look for unique kids books as books are a HUGE thing in my house and typography and design is very close to my heart. Definitely a must for any little kids library.
